Miriam Platt Ministry

This is a non-denominational, international, evangelical ministry

“Now, therefore, revere the LORD and serve Him with undivided loyalty; put away the gods that your forefathers served beyond the Euphrates and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.  Or, if you are loath to serve the LORD, choose this day which ones you are going to serve―the gods that your forefathers served beyond the Euphrates, or those of the Amorites in whose land you are settled; but I and my household will serve the LORD,”

Joshua 24:14-15 (Tanakh)

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.

Matthew 12:25 (NIV)

I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.  My brothers, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you.  What I mean is this:   One of you says, “I follow Paul;” another, “I follow Apollos;” another, “I follow Cephas;” still another, “I follow Christ.”  Is Christ divided?  Was Paul crucified for you?  Were you baptized into the name of Paul?  I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you accept Crispus and Gaius, so no one can say that you were baptized into my name.  ... (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not remember if I baptized anyone else.”  For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

1 Corinthians 1:10-17 (NIV)

This is a non-tax deductible organization; because we believe that we have a responsibility to pay our tithe, as well as our taxes, on the income we receive.

When he returned from defeating Chedorlaomer and the kings with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh, which is the Valley of the King.  And King Melchizedek of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was a priest of God Most High.  He blessed him, saying, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.  And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your foes into your hand.” And [Abram] gave him a tenth of everything.

Genesis 14:17-20 (Torah)

It is impossible to rise from our bed and draw food to our mouth without the Lord and all that we possess belongs to the Lord; therefore, if the Lord requires us to pay ten percent back in order to lift up the Lord and the rest of humanity, we should be grateful to have the opportunity to do so.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:   Speak to the Levites and say to them:  When you receive from the Israelites their tithes, which I have assigned to you as your share, you shall set aside from them one-tenth of the tithe as a gift to the LORD.  This shall be accounted to you as your gift.  As with the new grain from the threshing floor or the flow from the vat, so shall you on your part set aside a gift for the LORD from all the tithes that you receive from the Israelites; and from them you shall bring the gift for the LORD to Aaron the priest.  You shall set aside all gifts due to the LORD from everything that is donated to you, from each thing its best portion, the part thereof that is to be consecrated.

Numbers 18:25-29 (Torah)

Just as one is required to pay tithe from the first firsts of their gain, the recipients of tithe are required to pay tithe on their gains.

Ought man to defraud God?  Yet you are defrauding Me.  And you ask, “How have we been defrauding you?  In tithe and contributions.  You are suffering under a curse, yet you go on defrauding Me―the whole nation of you.  Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, and let there be food in My House, and thus put Me to the test―said the LORD of Hosts.   I will surely open the floodgates of the sky for you and pour down blessings on you; and I will banish the locust from you, so that they will not destroy the yield of your soil; and your vines in the field shall no long miscarry―said the LORD of Hosts.  And all the nations shall account you happy, for you shall be the most desired of lands―said the LORD of Hosts.

Malachi 3:8-12 (Tanakh)

     And…

“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them.  If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men.  I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.  But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.  Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Matthew 6:1-4 (NIV)

Up until 1918 it was considered unlawful to declare a tax deduction on the contributions we made to charity.  When we keep an account of the tithe we pay and declare this as a deduction  for our personal gain, it is as if we have offered a gift to the Lord and then turned around and snatched it back.  The Lord was never meant to be used as a “tax shelter” and when we make use of this deduction, then we are no longer serving the Lord, but the Lord is serving us.  Also, when we give a gift to a loved one or a dear friend, we would never expect them to return it; therefore, why would we treat the Lord with any less love or respect?

Please review Exodus 22:28-29, Exodus 23:19, Leviticus 27:30-33, and Numbers 15:17-21.

Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words.  They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.  You aren’t swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are.  Tell us then, what is your opinion?  Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”  But Jesus, knowing their evil intent said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me?  Show me the coin used for paying the tax.”  They brought him a denarius, and he asked them, “Whose portrait is this?  And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they replied.  Then he said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

    Matthew 22:15-21 (NIV)

Most “non-profit” tax deductible organizations are profitable and some even exceedingly rich.  Many are more self serving than truly serve the Lord or lift up humanity.  And, we all take advantage of the same resources, in the community where we live; therefore, we should also be required to make the same contributions.

But mark this:  There will be terrible times in the last days.  People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God―having a form of godliness but denying its power.  Have nothing to do with them.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NIV)

We believe that if we are to truly trust in the Lord, then we must be willing to be like lambs in the palm of his hand.  To look to him for all things, including our well being.  If we are ill, to pray for his healing anointment and if it is the Lords will, to also submit to him in sickness and to death.  This means that in all things and through all things, we depend upon the Lord. He is the air we breathe and the strength we receive.  Having said this, we also believe that this is a walk of faith that cannot be dictated to anyone, but must be chosen individually.

See, then, that I, I am He; there is no god beside Me.  I deal death and give life; I wounded and I will heal.

Deuteronomy 32:39

"Come, let us turn back to the LORD:  He attacked, and He can heal us; He wounded, and He can bind us up.  In two days He will make us whole again; on the third day He will raise us up, and we shall be whole by His favor.  Let us pursue obedience to the LORD, and we shall become obedient.  His appearance is as sure as daybreak, and He will come to us like rain, like latter rain that refreshes the earth."

Hosea 6:1-3 (Tanakh)

A season is set for everything, a time for every experience under heaven:  A time for being born and a time for dying, a time for planting and a time for uprooting the planted; a time for slaying and a time for healing...

Ecclesiastes 3:1-3 (Tanakh)

He called a little child and had him stand among them.  And he said:  "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:3-4 (NIV)

We believe in the Holy Trinity and acknowledge their individual persona in the Word of God.

The spirit (the Holy Spirit) of the Lord GOD (Almighty God the Holy Father) is upon me (the Son of God), Because the LORD (Almighty God the Holy Father) has anointed me; He has sent me as a herald of joy to the humble, to bind up the wounded of heart, to proclaim release to the captives, liberation to the imprisoned; to proclaim a year of the LORD's  favor and a day of vindication by our God; to comfort all who mourn—to provide for the mourners in Zion—to give them a turban instead of ashes, the festive ointment instead of mourning, a garment of splendor instead of a drooping spirit.  They shall be called terebinths of victory, planted by the LORD for His glory.

Isaiah 61:1-3 (Tanakh)

Your divine throne is everlasting; your royal scepter is a scepter of equity.  You love righteousness and hate wickedness (The Son of God); rightly has God, your God (Almighty God the Holy Father), chosen to anoint you with oil of gladness over all of your peers.

Psalms 45:7-8 (Tanakh)

Do not cast me out of Your presence, or take Your holy spirit away from me.

Psalms 51:13 (Tanakh)

      Of David. A psalm.

The LORD (Almighty God the Holy Father) said to my Lord, (the Son of God)

“Sit at My right hand while I make your enemies your footstool.”

The LORD (Almighty God the Holy Father) will stretch forth from Zion your

(The Son of God) mighty scepter; Hold sway over your enemies!  Your people come forward willingly on your day of battle.  In majestic holiness, from the womb, from the dawn, yours was the dew of youth.

The LORD (Almighty God the Holy Father) has sworn and will not relent,

“You are a priest forever, a rightful king by My decree.”  The Lord (the Son of God) is at your (Almighty God the Holy Father) right hand. He crushes kings in the day of His anger.  He works judgment upon the nations, heaping up bodies, crushing heads far and wide.  He drinks from the stream on his way; therefore he holds his head high.

Psalms 110 (Tanakh)

“I, Wisdom (The Holy Spirit), live with Prudence (Almighty God the Holy Father):  I attain knowledge and foresight.  … “The LORD (Almighty God the Holy Father) created me at the beginning of His course as the first of His works of old.  In the distant past I was fashioned, at the beginning, at the origin of earth.  There was still no deep when I was brought forth, no springs rich in water; before [the foundations of] the mountains were sunk, before the hills I was born.

Proverbs 8:12-25 (Tanakh)

The words of Agur son of Jakeh, [man of] Massa; The speech of the man to Ithiel, to Ithiel and Ucal:  I am a brutish, less than a man; I lack common sense.  I have not learned wisdom, Nor do I possess knowledge of the Holy One.  Who has ascended heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hand?  Who has wrapped the waters in his garment? Who has established all the extremities of the earth? What is his name or his son’s name, if you know it?

Proverbs 30:1-4 (Tanakh)

This is Almighty God the Holy Father:

As I looked on, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat.  His garment was like white snow, and the hair of His head was like lamb’s wool.  His throne was tongues of flames; its wheels were blazing fire.  A river of fire streamed forth before Him; thousands upon thousands served Him; myriads upon myriads attended Him; the court sat and the books were opened.

Daniel 7:9-10 (Tanakh)

This is the Son of God:

As I looked on, in the night vision, one like a human being came with the clouds of heaven; he reached the Ancient of Days and was presented to Him.  Dominion, glory, and kingship were given to him; all peoples and nations of every language must serve him.  His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, and his kingship, one that shall not be destroyed.

Daniel 7:13-14 (Tanakh)

We believe that we ought to obey the Laws of Moses, before they became tainted by the teachings of humanity, who were influenced by the imagination of their heart or inspired by another spirit, other than the Lord.

You shall have one standard for stranger and citizen alike:   for I the LORD am your God.

Leviticus 24:22 (Torah)

You shall not add anything to what I command you or take anything away from it, but keep the commandments of the LORD your God that I enjoin upon you.

Deuteronomy 4:2 (Torah)

If you fail to observe faithfully all the terms of this Teaching that are written in this book, to reverence this honored and awesome Name, the LORD your God, the LORD will inflict extraordinary plagues upon you and your offspring, strange and lasting plagues, malignant and chronic diseases.

Deuteronomy 28:58 (Torah)

But be most resolute to observe faithfully all that is written in the Book of the Teaching of Moses, without ever deviating from it to the right or to the left.

Joshua 23:6 (Tanakh)

The sum of the matter, when all is said and done:  Revere God and observe His commandments!  For this applies to all mankind:  that God will call every creature to account for everything unknown, be it good or bad.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (Tanakh)

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.  I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.  Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:17-20 (NIV)

... “If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”

Matthew 19:17 (NIV)

Please Note:  All of the laws and the teachings of the prophets, in the Word of God, define the Ten Commandments.  One cannot understand how to love the Lord God with all of their heart, their mind, and their strength; without first studying all of the Word of God and learning about the Lord, so that they can discover what he approves or disapproves of.  One cannot begin to lift up and honor the Sabbath day, unless one has studied all of the law’s pertaining to the Sabbath and obeys them, etc...

We believe that if any one places greater emphasis on them self and tries to lead humanity away from studying the Word of God and obeying the Laws of Moses and the prophets, in the Word of God; then they are not instruments of God and they are not serving his best interest or ours.

Be careful to observe only that which I enjoin upon you:  neither add to it nor take away from it.  If there appears among you a prophet or a dream-diviner and he gives you a sign or a portent, saying, “Let us follow and worship another god”―whom you have not experienced―even if the sign or portent that he named to you comes true, do not heed the words of that prophet or that dream-diviner.  For the LORD your God is testing you to see whether you really love the LORD your God with all your heart and soul.  Follow none but the LORD your God, and revere none but Him.  Observe His commandments alone, and heed only His orders; worship none but Him, and hold fast to Him.

Deuteronomy 13:1-5 (Torah)

We believe in the examples and teachings set forth by Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and the remaining prophets; who were examples of righteousness for our benefit, in the Word of God.

Please study the entire Word of God and take it very much to heart!

We do not believe that the Lord was concerned with the placement of dots and/or vowels in the Word of God. We believe that the Lord wanted the world to learn about him and wanted the Word of God made available to everyone; so that we may all come to know the Lord, respect him, and obey his law; as he originally taught them to Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, the children of Israel, and the gentiles; who accompanied Moses through the wilderness.

When Enoch had lived 65 years, he begot Methuselah.  After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years; and he begot sons and daughters.  All the days of Enoch came to 365 years.  Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, for God took him.

Genesis 5:21-24 (Torah)

This is the line of Noah.―Noah was a righteous man; he was blameless in his age; Noah walked with God.―Noah begot three sons:  Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Genesis 6:9-10 (Torah)

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am El Shaddai.  Walk in My ways and be blameless. I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will make you exceedingly numerous.”

Genesis 17:1-2 (Torah)

Who can count the dust of Jacob, number the dust-cloud of Israel?  May I die the death of the upright, may my fate be like theirs!

Numbers 23:10 (Torah)

The LORD heard the plea that you made to me, and the LORD said to me, “I have heard the plea that this people made to you; they did well to speak thus.  May they always be of such mind, to revere Me and follow all My commandments, that it may go well with them and with their children forever!  Go, say to them, ‘Return to your tents.’  But you remain here with Me, and I will give you the whole Instruction―the laws and the rules― that you shall impart to them, for them to observe in the land that I am giving them to posses.”

Deuteronomy 5:25-28 (Torah)

But you must be very strong and resolute to observe faithfully all the Teaching that My servant Moses enjoined upon you.  Do not deviate from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Let not this Book of the Teaching cease from your lips, but recite it day and night, so that you may observe faithfully all that is written in it.  Only then will you prosper in your undertakings and only then will you be successful.

Joshua 1:7-8 (Tanakh)

We believe that the children of Israel were chosen as a light for all of the nations, in order that humanity might learn about the Lord and learn how to walk according to his way, by obeying the Laws of Moses.

Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the LORD:  Israel is My first-born son.  I have said to you, “Let My son go, that he may worship Me,” yet you refuse to let him go.  Now I will slay your first-born son.’”

Exodus 4:22 (Torah)

See, I have imparted to you laws and rules, as the LORD my God has commanded me, for you to abide by in the land that you are about to enter and occupy.  Observe them faithfully, for that will be proof of your wisdom and discernment to other peoples, who on hearing of all these laws will say, “Surely, that great nation is a wise and discerning people.”  For what great nation is there that has a god so close at hand as is the LORD our God whenever we call upon Him?  Or what great nation has laws and rules as perfect as all this Teaching that I set before you this day?

Deuteronomy 4:5-8 (Torah)

I the LORD, in My grace, have summoned you, and I have grasped you by the hand.  I created you, and appointed you a covenant people, a light of nations―opening eyes deprived of light, rescuing prisoners from confinement, from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

Isaiah 42:6 (Tanakh)

We believe that Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophecies proclaimed in the Word of God.  That he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and brought forth through the Virgin Mary.  That he was crucified and then he resurrected on the third day and ascended to heaven and now he sits at the right hand side of Almighty God the Holy Father.

Assuredly, my Lord will give you a sign of His own accord!  Look, the young woman is with child and about to give birth to a son.  Let her name him Immanuel. (By the time he learns to reject the bad and choose the good, people will be feeding on curds and honey.)  For before the lad knows to reject the bad and choose the good, the ground whose two kings you dread shall be abandoned.

Isaiah 7:14-16 (Tanakh)

The people that walked in darkness have seen a brilliant light; on those who dwelt in a land of gloom light has dawned.

Isaiah 9:1 (Tanakh)

I offered my back to the floggers, and my cheeks to those who tore out my hair.  I did not hide my face from insult and spittle.

Isaiah 50:6 (Tanakh)

Then I said to them, “If you are satisfied, pay me my wages; if not, do not.”  So they weighed out my wages, thirty shekels of silver―the noble sum that I was worth in their estimation.  The LORD said to me, “Deposit it in the treasury.”  And I took the thirty shekels and deposited it in the treasury in the House of the LORD.

Zechariah 11:12-13 (Tanakh)

For You will not abandon me to Sheol, or let Your faithful one see the Pit.

Psalm 16:10 (Tanakh)

Please review the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

We do not believe that we are saved by works as the children of Israel do.  Nor do we believe that we are saved by faith, as many Christians do.  We believe that we are saved by works and by faith.  Because unless we truly repent and seek to obey the Word of God and learn how to walk according to, “The Way,” by obeying the commandments―we remain sinners.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.  Do what it says.  Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in the mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.  But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it―he will be blessed in what he does.

James 1:22-25 (NIV)

What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds?  Can such faith save him?  Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food.  If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well, keep warm and well fed, but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.  But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”  Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God.  Good!  Even the demons believe that―And shudder.  You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?  Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?  You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.  And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.  You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

James 2:14:24 (NIV)

Ultimately, after we have repented of our sins and sought to walk in obedience to the Word of God; we are saved by grace, through the perfect sacrifice that was made for the forgiveness of our sins, by Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

All the people answered, “Let his blood be on us and on our children!”

Matthew 27:25 (NIV)

Please review the following scriptures:  Matthew 27:27-54, Hebrews 4:14-5:10, Hebrews 7:11-28, and Hebrews 10:1-25.

We believe in praying to none other than the Holy Father, through his Son, Jesus Christ.

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.

Matthew 6:6 (NIV)

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go bear fruit―fruit that will last.  Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

John 15:16 (NIV)

…I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.  Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.  Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

John 16:23-24 (NIV)

With the exception of Almighty God the Holy Father and his son; we believe that it is unlawful to lift up and honor anyone, to pray to them or through them, whether they have passed away or still exist.

Do not turn to ghosts and do not inquire of familiar spirits, to be defiled by them:  I the LORD am your God.

Leviticus 19:31 (Torah)

You shall not make idols for yourselves, or set up for yourselves carved images or pillars, or place figured stones in your land to worship upon, for I the LORD am your God.

Leviticus 26:1 (Torah)

Do not follow other gods, any gods of the peoples about you―for the LORD your God in your midst is an impassioned God―lest the anger of the LORD your God blaze forth against you and He wipe you off the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy 6:14-15 (Torah)

Oh, cease to glorify man, Who has only a breath in his nostrils!  For by what does he merit esteem?

Isaiah 2:22 (Tanakh)

We believe that it is unlawful to bow down and worship any image.

You shall not make for yourself a sculptured image, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth.  You shall not bow down to them or serve them, For I the LORD your God am an impassioned God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generations of those who reject Me, but showing kindness to the thousandths generation of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Exodus 20:4-6 (Torah)

For your own sake, therefore, be most careful―since you saw no shape when the LORD your God spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire―not to act wickedly and make for yourselves a sculptured image in any likeness whatever:  the form of a man or a woman, the form of any beast on earth, the form of any winged bird that flies in the sky, the form of anything that creeps on the ground, the form of any fish that is in the waters below the earth.   And when you look up to the sky and behold the sun and the moon and the stars, the whole heavenly host, you must not be lured into bowing down to them or serving them…

Deuteronomy 4:15-19 (Torah)

If you break the covenant that the LORD your God enjoined upon you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them, then the LORD’s anger will burn against you, and you shall quickly perish from the good land that He has given you.”

Joshua 23:16 (Tanakh)

Please review Daniel 9:27 and 12:10-12, Revelation 13:3-4 and 13:14-15.

We cling to the Word of God, the Laws of Moses, and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place.  He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw―that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

Revelation 1:1-3 (NIV)

Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring―those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.  ...

Revelation 12:17 (NIV)

… I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus.  Worship God!  For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 19:10 (NIV)

“Behold, I am coming soon!  Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.”

Revelation 22:7 (NIV)

We believe that these are the final days and soon the identity of the Anti-Christ will be revealed.  We believe that he has already achieved a highly political position and will continue to pursue additional power in time.

When their kingdoms are at an end, when the measure of transgression has been filled, then a king will arise, impudent and versed in intrigue.

Daniel 8:23 (Tanakh)

He will have great strength, but not through his own strength.  He will be extraordinarily destructive; he will prosper in what he does, and destroy the mighty and the people of holy ones.

Daniel 8:24 (Tanakh)

The Anti-Christ will derive his power from Satan and he will set out to destroy those whom will not submit to his authority.

(Revelation 6:7-8, 7:9-17, and 12:17)

By his cunning, he will use deceit successfully.  He will make great plans, will destroy many, taking them unawares, and will rise up against the chief of chiefs, but will be broken, not by [human] hands.

Daniel 8:25 (Tanakh)

The followers of Wahabism and the terrorist networks affiliated with the Fundamental Islamist movement, believe that they will be lifted up and honored by the Lord, for killing the infidels.  They believe that they have been chosen to serve the Lord, in a global jihad (a holy war), in order to convert humanity to Islam and enforce obedience of the Qur’an and that they have been chosen to destroy the children of the devil (Jews) and the children of the cross (Christians).  They also believe that when the Messiah returns, they will assist him when he destroys the Anti-Christ; however, the Lord will not require their assistance in order to fulfill this prophesy, because he will be accompanied by his own army.

Please refer to Revelation 19:11-21; which refers to the battle of Armageddon.

He will not have regard for the god of his ancestors or for the one dear to women; he will not have regard for any god, but will magnify himself above all.

Daniel 11:37 (Tanakh)

The god of women is “man / mankind."  The Anti-Christ will have no compassion for humanity and those who refuse to submit to him will become targets of terrorism.

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!"  I looked, and there before me was a pale horse!  Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.  They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Revelation 6:7-8 (NIV)

This is the Anti-Christ and the false prophet, who will support him.  Because the Anti-Christ will have authority over all of humanity; those who refuse to obtain the mark of his authority will be unable to purchase food, so some of them will die of famine / hunger. Unable to see a physician, some of them will die of disease, and because many people will flee from the sword, in order to try to save their lives, some of them will die by the wild beast in the wilderness.

The Anti-Christ will use a form of government called totalitarianism.  Individual freedom will be eliminated and he will try to subordinate all aspects of human life to his authority.  He will manipulate human existence with coercion and severe repression.

Please review Revelation 17:11 and 19:19-21 for additional understanding of the Anti-Christ.

The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.  The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

Revelation 13:2 (NIV)

He had the feet of a bear because he will walk in the way of previous Russian leaders; his political policies will be non-democratic, totalitarian, and communistic.   He had a mouth of a lion because he spoke “English” fluently.

Please Note:  In Daniel 7:6, the leader of the Ottoman Empire was also described as having a body of a leopard.

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months.  He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.  He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them.  And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.  All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.

Revelation 13:5-8 (NIV)

We believe that the rapture of the latter day saints will not occur until after the tribulation is complete and the Messiah returns

But he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Matthew 24:13 (NIV)

If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

Matthew 24:22 (NIV)

At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn.  They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.  And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Matthew 24:30-31 (NIV)

Please review Matthew, chapter 24.

This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.

Revelation 14:12 (NIV)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and that he created heaven and earth and all that there is therein.  Since the beginning of creation, the Lord has been trying the heart of humanity, in order to determine whether he would want us to be a member in his kingdom―in the Kingdom of God.

Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all the sins that he committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, he shall live; he shall not die,  None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness he has practiced, he shall live.

Ezekiel 18:21-22 (Tanakh)

To the rams and the bucks:  Is it not enough for you to graze on choice grazing ground, but you must also trample with your feet what is left from your grazing?  And is it not enough for you to drink clear water, but you must also muddy with your feet what is left?  And must My flock graze on what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have muddied?  Assuredly, thus said the Lord GOD to them:  Here am I, I am going to decide between the stout animals and the lean.  Because you pushed with flank and shoulder against the feeble ones and butted them with your horns until you scattered them abroad, I will rescue My flock and they shall no longer be a spoil.  I will decide between one animal and another.

Ezekiel 34:17-22 (Tanakh)

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.  In him was life, and that life was the light of men.  The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

John 1:1-5 (NIV)

We believe that when Jesus returns that he will dwell on earth for one thousand years and continue to teach humanity, so that we might learn how to become truly holy and able to dwell with his father, Almighty God the Holy Father, on the new earth.

Forty years I was provoked by that generation; I thought, “They are a senseless people; they would not know My ways.” "Concerning them I swore in anger, They shall never come to My resting place!”

Psalms 95:10-11 (Tanakh)

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge.  And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God.  They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands.  They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection.  The second death has no power over them, but they will be priest of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Revelation 20:4-6 (NIV)

Please review Hebrews, chapter 4.

For additional understanding of the millennium, when the Lord dwells on earth for one thousand years; please refer to the book of Ezekiel, chapters 39:22 through 48:35.

Then there will be one God, one law, and one people; and we will no longer be referred to as Jewish or Gentile, but we will all be called the children of God.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believed in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.  This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.  Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.  But whoever lives by the truth comes in the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

John 3:16-21 (NIV)

Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep!  See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed.  He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”  Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders.  He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.  He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.  And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb.  Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  And they sang a new song:  “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.  You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

Revelation 5:5-10 (NIV)

Please review Revelation, chapter 21.

Please pay particular attention to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, which explains the purpose of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the “One True God,” for all three monotheistic faiths:

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.  For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.  For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.  But each in his own turn:  Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.  Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.  For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.  The last enemy to be destroyed is death.  For he "has put everything under his feet."  Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.  When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.
